Artists Bio
My name is Julie Waldron and I live in the UK near the beautiful area that is the Cotswolds.
I have been constantly creating, one way or another since I can remember. After studying Art & Design at College I progressed from Junior Artist to Graphic Designer then eventually Studio Manager in my last two positions. Since then over the years I have produced coloured pencil commissioned works and taught children and adults privately.
All my hobbies involve creativity, whether it’s planning my garden, working out a new meal recipe or interior design in my home. I also usually have some other sort of ‘art’ on the go for example designing and making polymer clay earrings.
I can’t stop taking photographs, I need to capture so many wonderful moments in time which may end up as reference for my art or simply a memory to make me smile over and over again.
I find I can loose myself when I’m creating and it can distract me from any worries or negative emotions I am battling with.

Artists Statement
Portraiture has forever been a big love of Julies and as she has graphic design in her blood she can now combine the two to produce stylised realism sometimes with the added embellishment of the 3D pens.
Julie has only more recently ventured into the world of pastels and has found a new lease of life through them. She is inspired by faces whether it be human or animal. It's all about the eyes and capturing a moment in time that conveys so much more.
Art is subjective and there’s a creation out there for everyone, you’ll know when you see it. Julie hopes that her new work will brighten up walls and add a touch of elegance too.
