Drawing portraits of people and animals is a great love of mine but I also like to challenge myself sometimes as seen here with these drawings below.

Also on some of my drawings I am adding 3D paints to add an extra depth of detail to my artworks. 

This drawing is approximately 64cm x 46cm

The challenge here for me in the drawing below was that the reference photo of the woman floating in water was actually in black and white and her mouth was closed.

I enjoyed keeping this drawing very pale with the pastel colours then then adding the 3D paint detail around the flowers.

My style isn’t photo realism but I wanted to do a more detailed study of a face close up. I came across an amazing photograph of a man with his hands on his face and I just had to draw it. You can see the drawing below.
